It Just Keeps Getting Better and Better: Meet Mr. Harold Ransom



Meet Mr. Harold Ransom who's one of our newest Adjunct Faculty. We're excited to have him onboard as he will bring his network engineering experience to the Department of Computer Science. This is huge for the Department because we're striving to enhance our network engineering expertise. Mr. Ransom will help the students become familiar with network principles and how they are applied. Being that network engineering is forever changing, we wanted to ensure that the students move along technology and Mr. Ransom is going to help them get there.


Mr. Ransom worked in the Information Technology industry for over 25 years. He began working on HP Printers, PC Support, Help Desk, Network Administration, Network Operations, Network Engineering and Network Security. Over half of his career in IT, he has been in a VP or Director level position managing Network Operations, Network Engineering and Network Security teams.


Mr. Harold Ransom received an a Associate's degree in Programming at Wake Technical Community College. He has a B.A. in Race, Class & Culture from North Carolina A&T State University. Continuing his education, he has a M.S. degree in Information Technology from North Carolina A&T State University. Mr. Ransom is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Leadership studies.
