Meet Mr. Roddrick Jefferson who's the newest faculty member at The Shaw University. The Department of Computer Science is seeking to expand and elevate the Department for student success. With that, Mr. Jefferson was brought onboard to help evolve the students by implementing software engineering technology. With his software engineering background, he will be able to bring real life experience and provide technical concepts that's going to help transform the students for success. Mr. Roddrick Jefferson will oversee all software engineering academic offerings. He will also lead the internal student activities.
Roddrick earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Prairie View A&M University. Continuing his education, he received a master’s degree in Computer Science at the North Carolina A&T State University. He has worked in the areas of telecommunications, government, e-commerce, and more. His mission is to help as many students as possible by helping them succeed. Mr. Jefferson says, "Some of my greatest gifts is to teach and serve. God has equipped me with so much knowledge and I believe that he has put Shaw in my pathway to execute that. Listen, I'm ready to get to work."
