We truly believe we collectively have the ability, skill, and expertise to take this Department to new heights. With that, we know Dr. Bookert will help us surpass our expectations with her leadership, skills, and superior knowledge. We know that her efforts will be instrumental in developing many aspects in cybersecurity.
Dr. Bookert will bring her professional experience, positive attitude, effective communication, and strategic planning skills to advance the Department of Computer Science. She will also prepare the next generation of computer scientists at THE Shaw University. This is key because we want to cultivate the students to become the very best. She will serve as the Cyber Operations Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Computer Science.
Dr. Nyteisha Bookert is from Columbia, South Carolina. She received her Bachelor's degree from South Carolina State University and her Master's and Doctoral degree from North Carolina A&T State University. Her areas of expertise are privacy and cybersecurity.
